Sometimes you feel like one of those stone-men
from a comic book or graphic novel.
You try to take a step forward,
but you feel your body is made of gargantuan rocks.
You might as well be a jetty, shielding a harbor.
You’re so heavy, it hurts to move.
Mostly you just have to take a shower and get off Instagram.
You have to continue to build lives out of pita chips
and ballet slippers.
Reorganize the Tupperware, again.
You have to keep moving,
one bolder at a time.
